FWM x FCG: FlygerWoods Spotlight

FlygerWoods is mobilized to pioneer a new breed of Southern rap.

The Missouri City, Texas native born Anthony Tyrone Williams pays homage to the Houston legends that shaped his style, but is turning the page lyrically speaking.

Flyger discovered early on writing and rapping was his escape, and ultimately music reigned supreme. It has been a journey of lessons filled with realization and transformation for the creator and performer, who found his new lease on life.

Turning a nearly fatal car wreck into a devout passion for crafting, performing and writing original music, Flyger delivers his soul to the listener in both his performance and writing. FlygerWoods laidback style follows in the footsteps of rap icons MF Doom, Andre 3000, and Curren$y.

Following his self-titled debut “FlygerWoods” in October 2016, the rapper has amassed considerable press, played shows, toured and opened for national acts as well as performing at SXSW yearly. In the Fall of 2018 Flyger released his second album “My Middle Name Is Tyrone”, began to shift his focus to art and design, and subsequently his brand FWM was born. Inspired by the acronym for FlygerWoods Music, Flyger began building with Fine Southern Gentlemen out of Austin, Texas who got onboard to distribute FWM. FlygerWoods continues to release new music and develop creatively, experimenting with fashion, and collaborating with his homies and favorite brands.
